With these, the light would go on when you close the fridge door.

Wow. It absorbs IR and re-emits the energy as visible light.

That's seriously cool. :j

This week's progress
- Good source of data found for real world closed systems.
- Had a very successful test using randomly found crop data at a range of about 900 years. (Within 10%)
This week's challenges
- Finding a good means of representing the reliability or lack thereof for lower tech crops.

You're certainly allowed to take a breather, man. :)

Data crunching continues.
I'm up to the letter "R" in my non-alphabetical list of staple crops. Rice covers nine very separate crops, hmm.

Pretty important, though. The ability to move water to where it's needed, and away from where it's not wanted, gives people tremendous control of the environment.

Colorado couldn't exist as it currently does, if we couldn't do that.

Progress is still happening on this project.

While I should have probably brought this up in a more timely fashion, I have written some farming content for Citadel at Nordvörn and succeeded in getting an "additional material" credit.
Thank you Douglas.
There is no crunchy farming system there though, that is still under wraps (and waiting for me to do the larger part of the 80:20)
The product of the system, as well as a fair amount of research is present however.

The process was informative and educational as well as serving as a playtest for the mechanics involved.
