It's at my FLT for $27.99. The MSRP printed on the box is $24.95. Is that something to be brought to the attention of SJG's people?

Individual Target stores have control over their own pricing and can go below or above MSRP -- the S stands for "suggested," after all. Your best recourse is not to buy until the price comes down, if you don't want to pay their premium for novelty.

I'm expecting it at my Target shortly. When I went yesterday, Munchkin Adventure Time was Clearance priced and the shelf was already empty (I would have regretted missing that, but the "clearance" price wasn't all that great).

I'm suspecting so, but to confirm: Does this set use its own distinct Oz card-back design?

No. It uses the same design as original Munchkin (and Pathfinder, Legends, and Conan). The fronts are quite distinct, however.

Awesome! That's a sell for me. Love mixing and matching without having to worry about either card sleeves or players knowing anything about what they draw.
