When killing a monster, do you have to move up a level before drawing treasure?
I assume yes, but wanted to double check. My daughter was at level 8 and defeated a monster and drew her treasure. One of the cards was a go up a level card so she wanted to play that first before moving up a level for killing the monster. I told her she had to go up first then draw / use treasure. Is this correct?
Thanks, John |

I believe you go up the level and draw the treasures simultaneously. You can then play the treasures after that. So yes, you were right.

There are a few cards that actually rely on the order, such as Trojan Horse. It was ruled previously that you get the levels before you get the Treasure, but there is also no valid time to play other cards between those two actions, unless you can specifically interrupt one of them.
