Confused about 'Elder Globs'
Hello, my wife and I are confused by 'Elder Globs' from the Cthulhu base set.
It says that it is immune to Ichor effects, but gains double bonus from Combat Ichor effects. We don't understand how it could get double combat bonus from Ichor effects when it is immune to Ichor (and thus unaffected by them) in the first place. Sooo.. how does this work? |

Re: Confused about 'Elder Globs'
I think it means Ichor one-shots normally playable to either side are only playable to Elder Globs side (for double bonus) and not to help the Munchkin side.

Re: Confused about 'Elder Globs'
I agree with Bampop. The use of 'but' in the card text indicates that it is immune to all Ichor except Ichor which is giving it a combat bonus, and that bonus is doubled.
In other words, the munchkins cannot use Ichors against the Globs, but the Globs can use Ichors against the munchkins, and they do it well. |
