Price of Rites

Just a short rules question.
Is it possible to buy additional Rites at character creation, and if yes, at which price?

IIRC, rites are 3 cp's each. Whether at character creation or through play.

I believe the only reference to buying rites in the core rules is on p. 193, in the text on Mummies, which states they can buy an extra rite for 3 points.

I'm not sure where the first canon reference to celestials buying rites is -- possibly in the APG.
