Munchkin Impossible Hirelings
Reading my rules (version 1.5 April 2011), it does not say that I may sacrifice my hireling, prior to rolling to run away, to auto escape. Does this not happen in Munchkin impossible?

Re: Munchkin Impossible Hirelings
For consistency with rules such as whether Cheat! can be played on Hirelings, I'd say that you're surmising correctly and that Impossible Hirelings do not have that ability. However, this is one of the cases where I really want to be overruled by Andrew or Erik as it seems like a rather odd omission.
Edit: I do have to add that the Hirelings in Munchkin, Munchkin 3, Munchkin Legends and Munchkin Pathfinder don't have this ability either (they have a slightly different one written on their card), so that actually does lend more to support to the concept that Impossible Hirelings can't be sacrificed unless they are used in another set which uses Hirelings...

Re: Munchkin Impossible Hirelings
We're aware of the difference (I don't want to call it an inconsistency), and I believe that it's been decided that one should go with the rules as written, until such time as one merges, at which point one should follow the most liberal rules with respect to sacrificing Hirelings.

Re: Munchkin Impossible Hirelings
Well, that's something else to add to my rules checklist.
