I swear there was a thread about this, but I can't find it because the search terms are too short.

Where are the different kinds of AI (SAI, NAI, and LAI, IIRC) defined? I can't find that passage in my books.

There is a definition of artificial intelligence in Ultra-Tech p. 25 with lenses on p. 27-28.

Though Ultra-Tech does have close equivalents.

NAI (Non-sapient AI) is a clever drone.
LAI (Low-sapient AI) is a full AI but lacks the full range of human versatility.
SAI (Sapient AI) is pretty much equivalent of a human.

In UT, they are Volitional AI, Non-Volitional AI, and Weak Dedicated AI.

The errata has Weak Dedicated AI with Complexity equal to ([racial IQ/2]+1), Non-volational one Complexity higher, and Volition one more Complexity higher.
