A curious booster could be one called "Munchkin Characters" or "Money Bussines" and it should be based in those characters (actually NPCs) that you can found in any RPG game. They always offered themselves to help... by the right amount of gold. You could use theirs skill just once time, like a one-use item.
I.E. :
Garb Eachman
Garb will sell you any object in the dicard pile for the price of it... and 100 GP more.
T.H. Ief
Mr Ief will steal any small object that has a player in the table for half the cost of GP.

Need to issue a caution here: while you're welcome to talk about sets that you'd find interesting, you should be aware that we're probably not going to do them. We've got booster ideas that will take us well into 2012 already.

And please shy WELL away from offering card ideas -- that's explicitly prohibited here, and I'll have to delete the thread if it veers too much into creating cards rather than proposing booster ideas.

"So consider this an invitation: what do you want to see in boosters, for Munchkin or other games, down the road? What don't you want to see? Are we doing too many, not enough, or just the right number? Head over to the forums and sound off!

Ahhh, how can one answer without card idea's (Just the names folks, not the details, there is a "user submitted" zone for that)? Or worse yet, booster suggestions? Was just tryin to answer / respond to your invite.

Epic Sets is still, in booster format, a great idea.

Flavored Holiday is also a great idea. Halloween has not been explored enough, Boxer Day for FU!. or even All Monsters Night for Cthulhu.

Dungeons, an expansion with nothing but Dungeons. Not for all the sets, but for Fantasy and Cthulhu, and Possibly Zombies. One needs someplace to chase the Humans too.

Pat, you're totally right. I plead allergy-induced lack of sleep and apologize for the mixed message.

A sport related set may go over well (I could probably make an entire hockey themed set and I have a bunch of ideas for cards as well). The equipment would be very simple to come up with and the character classes could be from different sports. The monsters could be famous sports icons, while the curses/traps could be called penalties. That was my two cents.

I'd really like to see in boosters:

- Epic races and classes cards booster packs for each core

- Epic Monsters and monster modifiers in a different pile, so that if you owned the expansions, while epic you would draw a card from the regular Door and one from this pile.

1984: That sounds like a core set or a full expansion, not a booster (15 +/- card) pack.

The concept of themed blends is interesting, of course, but the issue is what theme do you pick for a pair of core games? I mean, the "Firefly" concept is quickly recognizable to some, but if it weren't for "Firefly" I could still list a few other Western/Sci-Fi combos as examples. So, do you make cards for one of those examples, or try to get some cards from all the best ones?
