Re: Real-Life Weirdness
Your Action! game involves a gold heist. Thanks to Hollywood, we know how this goes: you assemble a crack team with varied skills, create an elaborate plan to defeat the security and extract the loot, and in the middle of the caper deal with an unexpected complication that inevitably would foil your master plan if you weren't so clever as to think on your feet.
Here's the real-life reality check, in a NY Times article which links street-side security camera footage of the theft. Evidently the perp just happens to be walking by an armored truck, notices a bucket in the back of the completely unattended truck, and as a second thought picks it up and makes off with it. It contained $1.6 million dollars' worth of gold flakes (which puts the bucket at over 100 pounds). They think he's in Florida now. That's not going to make much of a caper story, so you'll just have to come up with another reason for the events. Why was that truck left unattended by its guards? And what was really in the bucket -- something valuable enough that a million dollars' in gold is the innocent cover story? Were leprechauns involved? Re: Real-Life Weirdness
Reminds me of one incident in Groundhog Day. Watching the same day play out over and over again, he was able to walk up to the armored truck as the guard bent over taking a bag of money without anyone noticing.
Just one more crime committed by Florida Man.

In the event of a power failure, some jet aircraft can deploy a small propeller that is hooked up to a generator to produce power for the navigation systems.

Gold, but radioactive gold, which the insurance comapny will now replace with non-radioactive gold.

In Kansas, they set up a camera trap to spot mountain lions. They got no pictures of mountain lions. Instead, they got this:
https://www.buzzfeed.com/jasonwells/...Nej#.oakd9W1nw Honestly, what is going on in Kansas? Clearly, this must be some kind of cult. |

Won't make you turn green from gold-lust, greed, or jealousy, but from multiple organ failure.

Re: Real-Life Weirdness
Someone has opened a nut store for mice on a street in Sweden's third largest city.
Article in Swedish, but there are pictures of it.
