How to make Clothes and Appeareance without Disguise Spell?
Hi guys, I'm trying to build a Doppel like monster that can copy your entire look. But Elastic Skin changes only physical appeareance. I want it to be like an Illusion power, but I don't know if it's the right way.
Illusion(Independence + Extended to other Senses + Init)? |

Shapeshifting requires the exact form to be stated. The ability to copy many shapes is Morph.

Shapeshifting (Morph; Cosmetic -50%) [50] is generally going to be sufficient. You may want Glamour (in Powers or Power-Ups 8), depending how illusory it actually is.

Oh, thanks, didn't know shapeshift would change one's clothes!
That answers the question, thank you very much! I'll put glamour on it, its a disguise spell :D |

I imagine without glamour, the clothes would have to be physical and therefore the shifter's actual skin.

Huh. Missed that part of things, and the rules are obscure. I'd call it 10% to fit your gear to your new form up to No Encumbrance.

Would that allow turning rags into royal garments? Without glamour that would be quite the way to make money.

As long as you're wearing them, sure. It's just a generic guess from other forms of 'can carry'; it's usually 10% to benefit your gear up to no enc.

If you've got "morph" then you can shapeshift the colour and shape of your skin to make it look like you are wearing clothing even though you aren't. They won't come off though.
