Default Interaction between Sorcery and Spell w/ Delay:Triggered?

Lets say I create a spell that acts as a proximity mine. Something like:
Crushing Attack(Area Effect; Delay:Triggered (Anybody but me gets within 1 yard); Sorcery)

How would an 'active mine' (a use of the spell that had not yet been triggered) react to me changing my active spell?
Would it stay active, because it has already been cast, or would it cease to function since it hasn't been activated yet?

i'm fairly sure it will stay active, because is considered been cast.
And that's the same for standard deelayed spells: they count as active spells, thus you have penalty for sequential spells

What he said. A spell's effect is not an active effect after it's done. It's the same with buffing spells - once you buff the target the spell is over and it's effects take place. That's why all buffing spells also add Magical to the traits they add.

Agreed. And Sorcery's FP cost should prevent you from simply spamming your mines everywhere.

The exception is a spell with "Indefinite" duration, which is to say a maintained spell. Those do interfere with other spellcasting per Sorcery p8, and prevent you from swapping out your active spell as long as you're maintaining the current one.

(I don't think that Sorcery actually specifies that a maintained spell ends the turn the caster swaps out their active spell, as opposed to at the end of its 1-minute activation period. That seems to be implied by the way MA and AAs normally work. You might even interpret that as not allowing the spell swap at all until the duration expires, but that seems like it's taking "while maintaining a spell a sorcerer cannot cast further spells" a bit far. Allowing a spell to last for its entire 1-minute activation period after a swap and further casting seems very generous.)
