Path for Duck in response to a trap
The card Duck! has the trap affect the closest Munchkin to you. The affect closest to you is defined as a path through adjacent rooms.
Two questions: A) Does it affect only the Munchkins in the immediately orthogonally adjacent rooms? B) Does the path of the trap go more than one room away? If so, is the path in a straight line? Thanks. |

Re: Path for Duck in response to a trap
The text says "adjacent rooms". That would imply more than one room is possible and does not suggest it has to be a straight line.

Yes, except adjacent has a specific definition in Munchkin Quest (in the glossary) and since objects are incapable of changing direction on their own, there is nothing in the room for them to "bounce off" as it were.

Yes. "Adjacent" means "connected by an exit". There is nothing in the rules that suggest an trap cannot "change directions" when attacking.
