Sounds good! I'm in.

This looks pretty cool

I know I asked you about forums earlier and you said something like 'hopefully in the works', have you any updates on the process of getting a forum?

Talking in a roundabout way:

If you've been over to my website recently you'll see it's gotten a hell of a lot of upgrades.

Firstly we (Gigerman and I) migrated to WordPress, rebuilt the thing from the ground up, migrated the content (that was a neat trick), and then did the work to make it eCommerce ready. Then I locked out the old site with a slick bit of redirect code, and bought an SSL certificate.

Now, yes, I'll need some forums, and probably a Discord channel. I'm not quite ready to do that yet, but thanks for the reminder.

My "posts other than GURPS" this week have revolved around progress in making my first real product for Gaming Ballistic, LLC.

Gaming Ballistic, LLC – Update for 11/11

There are a few more, but they largely contain additional information repeated in the weekly summary.

There has been some major activity this past week, as one would expect.

My overall impressions of the first season of Supergirl was that once they got out of the teen romance style plot line, it's settled down and got much more interesting and exciting.

And thank you for backing dungeon grappling! I was very pleased with the success of the kickstarter and I'm currently working with my artist to get the pieces required for final assembly of the book. I am trying to have all the art in Hand by the end of the month.

Monster Monday is a feature that will occur every other week. It will feature an excerpt creature from the working draft of the Dragon Heresy RPG.

A Vaettr (Wight) is the restless corpse of a warrior, animated by bloodlust and hatred. The wight is created when a warrior is so fond of killing, maiming, and fighting without a good cause that upon its death, the Valkyries not only reject the spirit, but deny its passage to Dauthaheim. Clinging to its lust for violence, it rises each night to claim more victims...

Thus far, Dungeon Grappling has been very well received critically. I maintain my contention that grappling needs to be part of any game that features combat. The less the grappling rules deviate from the regular combat rules, the better they are as an option that can be integrated easily with the normal flow at the table.

Shane was gracious enough to invite me on his program, and he also independently reviewed the play of the game. And by that, I mean he actually played out some combats using the grappling rules and reported on how it worked for the game.

I think his review is both favorable and accurate. But I also think it presents a take on things that invite comment, so I’m going to indulge in a bit of quote-response.

There's a really need class design system in the Adventurer Conqueror King System by Alex Macris. You'll be seeing more of it from me in the future.

It’s Monster Monday, where I highlight a creature from the upcoming Dragon Heresy RPG. Today we have a devilishly good time, and I’ll throw down a monster you’ve seen before – on the cover fo Dungeon Grappling! The Marilith demon. Demons are of the “burn it all down” school of evil, and while some of them are mighty and powerful, in the cosmology of Etera, they reside on the middle planes of Asgard, called The Realms of the Field.

Monster Monday: Marilith Demon
