I came across this while digging through my pile of unsorted images. Can't remember if it's from a scenario or what. Any ideas?

Its not in any of my collections and my Google-fu has failed me. Its not from the OGRE PC game. Graphics aren't right for that. It looks like it might have been generated using TOMC's OgreMap.

I vaguely recall a discussion about a map like this, a set up for a fortress centered on a lake, surrounded by swamp ... making it hard to attack (with multiple HOW on the island structure).

Mack, I believe you might be thinking of the scenario "Storming the Castle" in OGRE Scenario Book 2. It does have the artillery on the island, but it just uses G1 and S1 with three city overlays to form the island itself.

STILL can't find that map. But I feel certain it was made using the OgreMap editor by the esteemed Mr. TOMC.

Although the link to the map is no longer there (but you have it presented in your OP), I believe this is the thread you're looking for . . .

D.

(And yes, TOMC made the map)

Nice one. Ogre meets Star Fist.

Thanks for digging that thread up for us Drew! That looks like a helluva lot harder to storm than the one from "Storming the Castle". I believe even an Ogre would look at the defensive layout and say: "Nope. Hard nope on this mission. Going back to the barn for maintenance."
