Default HP wise, is 0 a positive number?

If you have unkillable 2 or 3, do you wake up at 0 HP or 1 HP?

The italics for Unkillable 2 I take as emphasis so would rule it as at least 1 HP.
Doesn't matter for Unkillable 3 since that specifies full HP.

The ghost, pattern of energy, etc is just fluff and does not let you interact with anyone.
Look at the bit about trading in pnts in Unkillable for a spirit template for more clarification that until you heal to full you cant do anything.
I would allow a character to have AF (spirit form) with Reciprocal modifiers to appear upon physical death though.

Is there a question?

0 is not a positive number.

What GURPS means by "positive HP" might be gleaned from other uses of the phrase.

B327/B380 "Usually, you are still in the fight as long as you have positive HP;" + "If you have zero or fewer HP left, you are hanging onto consciousness through sheer willpower and adrenaline – or are barely holding together, if you’re a machine."

B484 "building “disabled” by going to 0 HP or less" + "equipment that still
has positive HP requires"

It does sound in terms of the dividing points that 0 is excluded from positive.

And of course, as Anaraxes points out, that is unambiguously what the word means.

It's always good to find in-book examples though, to supplement what we may think is a common understanding of language, in case anyone disputes it.

As a math geek: zero is non-negative, not positive.
