Default Re: GURPS Lone Wolf

I'm not sold on Kai Lord Initiates have superhuman powers. Magnakai and Grand Masters? Sure. I wrote this up last night. Not everything is set in stone, so I don't have all the point costs yet. Just brainstorming.

Note this is for a Kai Lord Initiate, with 5 out of 10 possible "Kai Disciplines" chosen.

Notes:

Kai Lord Initiate combat training is all encompassing, treating armed, unarmed combat, as well as attack and defense as different sides of the same coin. The emphasis is on utilizing strikes, throws, and locks as ways to supplement the Kai Lords various combat skills. He is meant to use locks, empty handed strikes and throws in conjunction with using the sword/axe/knife. It also serves as a method to improve and maintain the Kai Lord’s physical conditioning.

Initiates also learn skills and abilities reflecting their training. No two Initiates will have the exact same set of “Kai Disciplines” during this time. The ability to gain the psionic abilities does not come easily or quickly for all Initiates; some develop these abilities later in their career.

Default Re: GURPS Lone Wolf

This is really great. I always wanted to port Lone Wolf and The One Ring to GURPS. Loves the settings, not so much the rules. But I'm lacking experience with GURPS to properly port it on my own.
The Kai Disciplines can be a mix of skills and advantages. In the books the same Discipline sometimes appears as mundane skill, other times as supernatural abilities.
Should the abilities be included into a Power modifiers like Chi or Divine? I haven’t read all the books and can't say if the Disciplines are subjected to any limitations like meditation, prayers, vows...
If Disciplines are partially defined as skills and want to have them as a Chi or Divine power, what would be the best way to handle it? Can skills be part of a power... I probably need to re-read GURPS Powers
