Going quarterly vs bi-monthly would still cause the same problems. 4/6 effort would still require considerable input from a dedicated SJG staffer that could be better used elsewhere.

I suspect that if switching to a quarterly or annual was financially viable at this time, they would have done so

I'll be sad to see it go. Many of my favorite optional rules and interesting interpretations came from Pyramid, and I doubt that such ideas will find a new home outside unseen blogs and buried forum posts.

Just a thought, but with Volume 3 coming to a close I would love it if SJ Games released a PDF catalog of all the Pyramid articles. The bulk could be the previews from the beginning of the issues, with some additional notes for articles with distinct sub-sections (like Armor Revisited or 10 Tweaks to Combat) and then some lists with page references for specific themes (i.e. all the DF or Cyberpunk or combat articles).

Isn't there a fan-made index for Pyramid #3 already out there, or am I misremembering things?

Sad.

It means we must buy more GURPS and convert more unbelievers to the one true faith until we receive the fourth incarnation of pyramid.

It's like a summoning ritual, really.

Yes, though its more a matter that I just don't trust purely online resources. I grew up when a high quality website could just vanish over night without warning.

Though I think having it as a final official end cap for Pyramid, maybe with a few goodbyes or afterthoughts from the staff, would still be a nice way to end it.
