Dragonflight 39 in Bellevue, WA
The gaming convention Dragonflight 39 will be held August 24-26, 2018 at the Bellevue Hilton in Bellevue, WA. Several car combat events are scheduled.
Magesmiley will be running the Annual Dragonflight Car Wars Tournament in 3X Car Wars scale using 3D components. This year there were 4 full 8 player qualifier games, plus the final on top of that. There's a lot of little things that go into it. One that usually doesn't show in the pictures though is the ribbons that I hand out for people to stick on their badges (which say Car Wars Tournament). These aren't just decorative, but functional as well: players also get decal stickers with their car numbers to put on the ribbons. And the much coveted kill stickers for the ribbons too when they earn them. I've had conventions where people have walked up wanting to know how to get one of the kill stickers which they saw on another player's badge.
