Nope, only works if YOU say it. But since you quoted me in your post that's as good as saying it so I have to go destroy my liver now. THANKS, DOUG.

Considering the points Kromm's sunk into Mixology I am amazed that GURPS Alcohol is not a book yet

Though I guess DF Taverns is close

Shiner Birthday Beer is awesome btw

I wonder how much 'I can roll 4 dice and take the best 3' should cost?

I would guesstimate around 50 points (DX, IQ, HT) and because 50 is Doubly Pentaphiliac

I'm using 20-points in my current campaign and that seems about right. See here for another way to do it.

The mean is lower by not quite 2, and the standard deviation is smaller by 0.1 or so.

Your odds of a crit go up to as if you had Skill 15 if you're at lower than 15, and if your skill is 16+ for a 6- rolls a crit, you're rolling a crit slightly more than one time in five.

Your odds of auto fail on a 17 or crit on an 18 are lower, but they're small probabilities anyway.

It might even be worth more, on the order of 100 points, if it always happens.

It been a while since I posted about GURPS. I posted my thoughts on making GURPS more approchable. Some of it are the same timeworn arguments I made in the past on this forum. But there are some updates. The most important of which are based around Sean Punch's Pointless GURPS article in Pyramid.

Making GURPS more approachable.

A new post about Wizards new Dungeon Master's Guild offers a possible path to allow fans and SJ Games to make some money off of GURPS and other SJ Games IP and give SJ Games more control than a open content license offers. Plus a segregated publishing area will also be a clear indication that the stuff may or may not be as good as the official line of products.

Is the format of Wizard's DM Guild a way out for GURPS?

Various regulars know I am one of those who have been strongly pushing for something like the Dungeon Fantasy RPG for a long time.

Taking a hard look at the Dungeon Fantasy RPG.
