Default Level 9 and multiple monsters

Hi

Wondering if someone can clear this up for me.

1. Can you look for trouble at level 9 to win the game?

And

2. If you are fighting multiple monsters do you get to go up a level or Levels for each monster you beat.

Eg a monster that gives 2 levels and two monsters that give 1 level.

Do you go up 4 lvls?

Regards

J

Yes, you can. Of course, your opponents are going to try their hardest to stop you too.

You go up 4 levels. At the end of the rules section about "Asking for Help" it says:
