Default Pyramid #100 speculation thread

Pyramid #3/100 will be out in - what, February? Mars? 2017, just a few months before the DFRPGpbGURPS comes out. What treasures might be contained within its covers? Will it be a "best of" magazine? Or will it contain new articles, the likes of which we mortals can barely fathom? This is the speculation thread.

Issue 100 should be out in February.

Considering that (a) every back issue is still available, and (b) some people pay in advance for Pyramid on the assumption they'll be getting new content each month, I suspect a "best of" issue would be poorly-received.

My guess is that it'll be one of two things: either an issue focusing on the best-selling lines, or an issue focusing on all the nifty-but-usually-overlooked parts of GURPS that make it different from other RPGs. (I suspect the former is more likely than the latter, but I can dream. Hey, I still haven't given up hope for a new In Nomine supplement some day.)

Or maybe it'll be 112 pages of GURPS Munchkin.

It'll be the grande finale issue of Pyramid 3, and they'll announce a brand new format for Pyramid 4 #1, starting in March.
I'm betting on a new focus on Car Wars, and distribution via Patreon. ;)

We may even get an article from the Big Cheese himself. Would be nice to read.

I strongly suspect we'll get an article from Kromm about what has happened since 2004 and what direction we can expect GURPS to take in the future. Which would be interesting.

Or maybe they will finally tell us the truth about GURPS. Maybe mankind will be ready for it by then.

By than they will presumably have sorted the data on the new print releases.

It will be a 1 page issue consisting of a blank page with just the url to the pyramid 2 archive released to all subscribers , not only the lucky few that had an active subscription the day it closed...

I know, it is unlikely, but one can dream.
