Default Orcslayer

How about reissuing Orcslayer as a TFT adventure?

Converting Orcslayer was something I suggested in the comments sections of the Kickstarter along with Harkwood.

Orcslayer is a GURPS adventure. I'm not sure "updated" is the right word here.

I do support the idea of converting the book to TFT. I know SJ Games isn't huge on crossovers between its lines, but I think that particular adventure would make a worthwhile exception.

Not seeing the appeal here...an ancient GURPS module converted to TFT? Especially when SJG has made it clear they plan no blurring or crossover between the two game lines.

Technically, a Man to Man module.

Orcslayer makes a very nice intro to GURPS tactical combat, because it links several different sorts of tactical (and travel) situations in an adventure context where what happens in one situation impacts the next. And because it is pretty simple and bare-bones so new players can focus on learning and the situation.

And it has some nice castle maps and a couple of scenarios that use them.

If it were converted to TFT, it would mean getting nice castle maps for TFT, as well as some improved travel/supply rules (for a desert crossing), rules for shooting up/down at/from arrow slits, battering ram rules, and a nice monster.

Someone who appreciated what Orcslayer offers could of course also just write a new TFT adventure that offers similar things.

My suspicion (and I may be completely wrong) is that Orcslayer started life as a TFT module.

Given that Orcslayer is set in Caithness (the GURPS Fantasy setting) and was published in 2005 (2 years after the closing of Metagaming), that's not very likely.
