When using liquid overcoats, do any of you ever tint the overcoat to provide additional depth in cracks and low areas? We used to call this "dipping" and it was a much favored approach, particularly with "dirty" armies, like medieval peasants or barbarians.

I use the first Future Floor Wax coat tinted with brown or black ink for final shading and to add depth to the mini. Then a final coat of wax to seal and protect, followed by a spray matte finish coat, to knock off the shine.
