And I know you can download the ODE rulebook and scenario book.

So you can have GEV now, you just don't get a box that says "GEV."

That would
Weren't you the one just saying you had to have the box?

Excellent advice. :D

Anyway, I did manage to obtain a copy of ODE (well technically, since it will take a few days to arrive), plus all of the sponsored countersheets I could afford. Sadly, I couldn't afford a second Barbarians at the Gate set of countersheets but I can probably get one later.

Just as an aside for others....I'm seeing NIB retail and KS version on fan marketplaces for 100-120 plus shipping. So there are ODE's still to be had until SJG decides on a second printing. But the way the 6e and Reinforcement packs are coming along I can understand putting it together like a high end stereo system.

To be clear, there will not be a second printing.

Until there is.

Because, let's be honest, if someone had told Steve in 2002 that in ten years he'd be making an Ogre game the size of a basset hound, he would have said:

"It's never going to happen."

So, never say never....

I get the feeling that like 90% of the people who'd want such a box already have it, or obtain one as soon as they find out about it and can find a seller.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see the box never get a reprint. Most of the contents are available separately (skipping the kickstarter exclusive stuff) so people can pretty much buy whatever they want/need.

And I wouldn't say that it will get reprinted. The one thing I would say for certain is that I never cease to be amazed at the chain of events that a dump truck full of money can set in motion.
