Door versus Treasure cards
Ok, I feel like an idiot, but I'm literally stuck on the _very_ first thing. The instructions say:
Divide the cards into the Door deck and the Treasure deck. Shuffle both decks. Deal four cards from each deck to each player Ok, but, um, which is which? All of my cards have a door on the back. The cards themselves are a mixture of monsters, curses, classes, items, etc. I've got no context at all as to how to split them up. |

Re: Door versus Treasure cards
Some cards have a door on the back, and some have a pile of treasure. If you look at an item card, they will always have treasure on the back, and if you look at a monster, they will always have a door on the back. That should show you what to look for.

Re: Door versus Treasure cards
Wow, I feel dumb. My game had the cards split into two decks. The first were all doors. The second had some doors on top... then all treasures. I had checked the first deck thoroughly, but only a bit of the second deck.
-sigh- Thank you! |

Re: Door versus Treasure cards
No problem. You'll find as you get expansions there are almost always slightly more doors than treasures, so some doors will be put in with the treasures just to make the stacks even for packaging.
