Realms of Dead?
IN DF9: Summoners, Necromancer has "Plane Shitf (Realms of Dead)" on his spell list, and few another spells with "Realms of Dead". What is this? Where I can read something about this "Realms of Dead"? What should I say to my player when he ask me "what is possibly purpose for this spell", or when he will want to cast this spell?

Re: Realms of Dead?
Yeah, that. Whatever "Realms of the Dead" means in the Necromancer's setting, the Necromancer can potentially learn a spell to go there in a comparitively-casual-and-temporary manner. If it doesn't exist in-setting, just omit the spell. Boom, done.

Re: Realms of Dead?
Maybe you can find a hint of answer in the Gurps Fantasy p.35. The Afterworld have a section about the realm of the dead. They put Heaven and Hell in this "realm of Dead". If you have some In Nomine stuff (Revelation III book for exemple), your "Realm of Death" could become a major part for your setting.

Re: Realms of Dead?
Ok, I got it. Simply I was think that this is any specific Realm of Dead which can be important part of this spell. Now I know this just mean "place where dead people go when you kill them" :)
Thanks for your hint korbeau, I have GURPS Fantasy luckily, I hope this will be very helpful :D |
