You can trade any card you have on the table with any card another player has on the table, provided that:

1) You do not change the status of either card -- if it's an Item that is in use, it stays in use.
2) The setup for the two players affected would be legal WITH NO OTHER CHANGES after the cards traded places. So you can't trade an Item for a Class if you already have a Class (and no Super Munchkin card), because you can't legally have two Classes at the same time. You can't (usually*) trade for a Big item if you already have a Big item in play. If you're trading an Item away from an Item Enhancer, you can't replace it with a non-Item. And so on.

* I'm not going to delineate all the possible ways you could legally have two Big items in play, and I strongly suggest that we not go down that derail.

If I'd realized HOW confusing this card was, I would have found a way to rewrite it back in 2010. My bad.

I realize this is an old thread, but it came up on my google search. This part of your quote confused me because most item enhancers explicitly state that "this card goes with the item if it is lost, stolen, or discarded". Wouldn't that mean if the item is swapped with BFS, then all the item enhancers go with it?

And what about items that may be worn with other armor/headgear/etc items like the Hong Kong Thong or Blond Wig that states "anything that takes away your ___ will take it all"?

Bad Feng Shui explicitly says that you trade ONE CARD. This is a case where a specific card instruction overrides a more general one.
