Default Locked Room

The Locked Room says to draw links normally, but then turn every link that is not a Wall into a Locked Door. Does that go for the link you entered the room through also? What about other existing links the room might have connected to? (as long as it's possible of course, i.e. not linked to the entrance)

In our game we did change all the links, and ended up with quite the monster trap. Was kinda boring seeing so many Monsters just piling up in there. (they got in through the Darkness)

To me, it seems clear that you draw the links normally to essentially find random walls. Then, replace any link that isn't a wall with a locked door. The wording, to me, says that even links that were already there need to change.

What about when a room like that is next to the entrance? do you replace the link to the entrance as well?

The rules are very clear on this:

That's the way we play.

How would you go about changing those links? Hacksaw? Craft knife? Me, I'd use a katana, cuz I'm that much of a munchkin. . . ;-)

I'd personally use a chainsaw, but then again I like a little overkill from time to time.

OK, nice to see we solved it correctly, even if it means making a monster trap :) Guess it makes a good excuse to use those cards for removing doors too. Too bad those door-bashing monsters never ventured near it! Maybe next time :)
