This has been ...
puzzling me since it first was published ---
If the artifact described in "Tollenkar's Lair" as looking like a "giant chamber pot with three handles" is supposed to be something, what the heck is it? I'm old. I need these questions answered before it gets too late :) |

Bean pot

It's a giant chamber pot, which is to say a chamber pot for giants. Which gigantic contents explains why it needs three handles to lift. One handle for each human slave porter, perhaps. |

Those are good answers.
But I was being antic. I had nothing particular in mind except to create a puzzling description. |

Re: This has been ...
May I suggest a simple typographic revision?
From "looking like a giant chamber pot with three handles" to "looking like a giant's chamber pot with three handles". But does this pass the smell test? |
