Default Changing dungeon during a combat

What happens with the effects of the dungeons when you change any of them during a combat? For example:
a) If you discard the Dungeon of Deadly Deathful Death, what happens with the bad stuff?
b) If you discard the Dungeon of Militant Monsters, what happens with the monsters than have been added without a wandering monster card?
c) ...
Any general rule?
Thanks!!
