Re: Rolling a three on a potion batch?
A random potion in the batch has triple effect, or two random potions in the batch have double effect.
(Since batches can be defective unknown to the alchemist, the GM always makes these rolls. This is nice in this case too, since there will be no OOC gamey knowing that more than one potion has a super-effect, which could be a problem from my perspective, because most potions are already quite powerful, so I wouldn't want double or triple effects to be more than a rare unexpected boon - no "guaranteed batch of triple healing!" ESPECIALLY not by cheesing charms or wishes. Don't even bother to do the match for cheesing wishes and/or charms so you can cheese this effect and that therefore that's what every typical ST 6 DX whatever alchemist with 20 healing potions in case they explode is already "obviously" doing. ;-) ) |

Re: Rolling a three on a potion batch?
On a roll of 4, chocolate flavored.
On a roll of 3, Kentucky bourbon.

Re: Rolling a three on a potion batch?
Maybe the work went faster and the alchemist have time for a pint or three on the way home after work. :-)
