Autoduel PC & Other Platforms Remake?

Has anyone heard anything on the Situation of the Autoduel pc remake?

A bit of online searching only finds an old article from 9 years ago about a new company, Pixelbionic, set to debut with a game called Autoduel (post-apocalyptic car combat), with references to Car Wars only in the comments. Seeing as the link to the company's website in the article now goes nowhere, and that searches for the company turn up little beyond sites that list it as a company with Autoduel "in development," I'd say that particular bit tanked.

I also found some mentions of SJGames looking for the source code for the original game (with speculation the search may be for a rerelease on Steam or similar), but nothing beyond that. So... don't hold your breath.

Actually Facebook Messaged the Company Olde Skuul based in Texas said 1 wk ago that they should be out Hopefully by Xmas with Pc & phone playing capabilities! So im keeping my Fingers crossed & the other on the Trigger &1 foot on the Gas

Looking at both Old Skuul's site and Steam, Autoduel has not been released (it's not even listed at either location), so I'm going to assume createsolid is a spammer. It's that or someone who is from an alternate reality where Old Skuul has released the game, or the future.
