I always wanted to see more creatures taken from mythologies besides the usual ones. Here's an interesting native american demon.

Edit: Here's another one. The spider, Kananeski, from The First Fire.

Here's one of my own. (Sorry if I'm infringing on your monster-making copyright, Perfect Organism.)

Template - Drake - Fantasy

It have four clawed paws, an impressive array of teeth, and a whip-like tail twice as long as it's body. Not to mention powerful, streamlined wings. Thought I was describing a dragon? Think one and a half foot long body. This is a Drake, just as powerful in their own right, and closely related.

295 pts.
Traits
ST-3, DX+4, IQ+1, HT+3.
HP+5, Per+1, BS+.25, BM +1 [125]
Very Handsome (Impressive; +4) [16], Acute Hearing 2 [4], Arm ST 6 (Tail) [18], Catfall [10], Chameleon 4 [20], Claws (Talons) [8], Clinging [20], DR 4 (Can't Wear Armor; -40%, Semi-Ablative; -20%) [8] Dark Vision (Color vision; +20%) [30], Extra Arms (Tail; Extra-Flexible; +50%, Long; +100%) [25], Extra Attack [25], Double-Jointed [15], High Manual Dexterity 2 [10], Flight (Winged; -25%) [30], Perfect Balance [15], Peripheral Vision [15], Regeneration (Regular) [25], Immune to Poison [15], Silence 4 [20], Super Climbing 5 [15], Sharp Teeth [1], Telesend (Broadcast; +50%, Universal; +50%, Reliable 6; +30% ) [46], Unaging [15], Universal Digestion [5], Warp (Takes Recharge {15 seconds}; -20%, Naked; -30%) [50]
Cannot Speak [-15] Divine Curse (Truthfulness 0) [-15], Horizontal [-10], Increased Consumption 2 (12 meals/day) [-20], Miserliness 12 [-10], Pyromania 12 [-5], Sense of Duty (All Drakes) [-15], Sleepy (1/2 of the time; 30 min - 2 hour cycles) [-8], Social Stigma (Second-Class Citizen) [-5], Xenophilia 12 [10], Likes Being Warm [-1], Dislikes Being Cold [-1]

This is actually a playable race, but if you should happen to fight one...

Drakes prefer to ambush their foes, hitting them in weak spots or chinks in their armor with their powerful tail.

Some posts that I've saved with monsters in them...

I posted a bit of analysis on minotaurs.

Chewy posted a Leurocotta about a year ago.

Bandii posted the Big Bad Wolf (or at least a frightening rethink of him).

I posted a Yrth demon that saw use in my game.

I've still got a few ideas, but I'm not going to get time to write anything up until sometime tomorrow. I like your scorpion and the stuff you wrote about minotaurs, by the way.

Default Narchivans

Narchivan Warrior

Narchivans are a semisentient hive-minded race of metallic, skeletal humanoid warriors. They have no organs, and their spiny black frames are as hard as steel. Their limbs and body are specially designed to cause projectiles to ricochet, greatly reducing damage. They have angular, skeletal heads with glowing, featureless red eyes and a wide, unchanging grin. Their weapons are similar in structure to their bodies and appear to be made of the same material. They communicate with each other in a manner which transcends both physics and psionics (therefore, it cannot be jammed by any known method). They have sharp claws and are highly skilled in melee combat both with and without weapons; however, they prefer long Narchivan polearms when facing formidable opponents. The infantry are aided by Narchivan Needler units, which are like Narchivan Warriors except with a weaker, lighter frame and a built-in wrist-mounted needler weapon. Only the stats for the melee unit are listed here. (I can give you the stats for a Narchivan Needler upon request).

ST: 13 HP: 15

20 lbs at only 16" long... Really dense, huh... Maybe it was supposed to be 2 lbs?

Actually, I really like this thread... I sorely wish they'd come out with a Monster Manual one day...

Body's long, wide, and has lots of bits hanging off of it, not the least being a huge muscular scorpion tail, and 10 limbs.

But 20 might be excessive - 15 might be more in line. A coconut crab hits around 10 lbs at 16" long, but it doesn't have the huge tail arrangement.
