Who can forget TROGDOR the burninator of peasants. 8)
can't really think of any other names that haven't been mentioned. Not sure if there is a GURPS book dedicated to dragons, but DnD has the Draconomicon which might have some pertinent information. |

Re: Dragons
MtG has some nice dragon names. For starters there are the Elder Dragon Legends, among which are Palladia-Mors, Vaevictus Asmadi, Chromium and of course Nicol Bolas (still missing the fifth name though). There are some later unique dragons as well, though I only recall Darigaaz, the Igniter at the moment.

Re: Dragons
These are great so far!
Remember, you don't have to just send in dragons from legends or games... you can make them up! DnD's Draconium has an interesting section in the back with dragons' names, but... it's like they had a random generator of letters; most just don't work. For example: Ofkrysantemiselni... Some are cool though, it just takes several hundred times of repeatedly saying it to get the hang of it =). But I think their point is that most dragons live so long, and are so arrogant, that they spend most of their scheming-time making names for themselves. Does anyone know if the dragon from Beowulf had a name? Not sure if it was mentioned in the original prose, but John Gardener rewrote the story through Grendel's eyes in a book called Grendel, where he talked to the dragon (who was really cool). I don't remember him giving a name though. |

Re: Dragons
"You couldn't say it. It's unpronounceable anyway." Dragon writes down a very familiar sort of symbol. "Try to pronounce that!"
"Artist formerly known as Prince?"
