Flying Bras
I have, by the way, updated the website. Including new material
Flying Bras Corporeal Forces: 1 Strength: 1 Agility: 3 Ethereal Forces: 1 Intelligence: 1 Precision: 3 Celestial Forces: 1 Will: 3 Perception: 1 Skills: Dodge/3, Fighting/3, Flying/6 Songs: Don't be absurd. Attunements: As I said, don't be absurd... oh. Right. Shedim can possess them. I personally wouldn't pay points for the privilege of being able to become the chew toy of The Monster In My Head, but I guess that it's the closest thing in game terms. Behold: it is a Vaputech device that fulfills every single one of its design objectives. The Genius Prince challenged his minions to bring him a mobile, self-aware device that could be possessed by a Shedite, and Vaputech's Division of Combat Lingerie (motto: "Well, yes, those boots were made for walking. That's what boots are for - unless you work for Andrealphus, of course.") triumphed where other, lesser Divisions failed. Flying Bras also do not explode, radiate, implode, sublime, mutate and/or meddle with the strong nuclear force... and this time there's no implicit 'unless you look at them funny, of course' included in that. To top it off, they aren't even homicidal or even nasty on their own. They don't mind being worn, and won't attack humans. You can even safely wash and dry them. Flying Bras, in other words, work. The problem is that they're, well, flying bras. There is no place on the planet where a flying bra is going to pass unnoticed - no, not even at a Tokyo tech conference, although that might change in the next few decades - so they're pretty good examples of the other kind of Vaputech; safe, but useless. At the moment, they're being kept in storage at various Tethers to Technology (these things are technically animals, not constructs - yes, they can breed. They live on sweat and dust, and don't particularly excrete solids) until somebody comes up with a use for them. Have any gotten out? Maybe. A number of demonic Tethers have been stocking up on hairspray, cigarette lighters and butterfly nets, which suggest something. |

Re: Flying Bras
For a game about Angels and Demons fighting over souls, I definitely never expected to see this.

Re: Flying Bras
Yeah, it was a little prosaic for me.

Re: Flying Bras
...my brain hurts.
Do they fly when being worn, or just when they're "free-ranging"?

It'd be much more sensible for them to wait until they can get away clean. Which probably means via the clothes dryer. Hey, if the socks can do it... Moe ;) |

... ... ...no, still can't think of anything coherent to say to that. O_O

Re: Flying Bras
By definition, if you encourage user creativity, you are asking for brain pain.
Hmm. Are they trainable? Loyal? Could one wriggle free if its owner were captured or trapped, and lead help back? "What's that, Lassie? Is Timmy in the well again?" |
