Marvel M: Secret Invasion and Mind Gem ??
Hello and thanks for any responses.
Question 1: Secret Invasion(trade cards in play) - Can the player being served with this card switch affiliations to Spiderfriends to possibly avoid the trap at the time he/she is hit with it? Question 2: Mind Gem/Secret Wars - If a Secret Wars trap(cannot help/be helped until lvl up) is played on a fellow Munchkin who holds a Mind Gem(discard 3 cards to force aid) can they ignore the Secret Wars trap? |

For #1, Munchkin does not have a "stack" mechanism, so generally you cannot play cards in reaction to other cards, and have the new card go first. If you are hit with a card, you usually have to resolve it first before you can do anything else.

Ok - That's the way we played it. Just needed some clarification.

Question 1: The previous answer is correct. (Just verifying it in case anyone wanted an "official" response.)
Question 2: You cannot force someone to help you in combat if you cannot receive help at all. So yes, Secret Wars renders your Mind Gem useless until the Trap is removed.

On the topic of the Secret Wars card... Recently the card was played to stop a player from "helping" the monster with one shots. Clarification would be nice.
