Share defined equipment with multiple characters

Hi all,

Is it possible to create/modify some type of file to enable multiple characters to have a "starting" equipment list that can be added to by players?

For example:
I would like to provide 6 characters with TL 6 GURPS Monster Hunters - Loadouts - Basic equipment (not all items are in data files)
3 with Slayer gear
2 with Scout gear
1 with Sage gear
e-mail the file to each player so that they can load it into their version of GCA for character creation and updates.

Example 2:
A character finds an enchanted item; rather than explaining how to create this in GCA4 I'd like to e-mail a file that can be added to the character's existing equipment list.

The really simple way is to create a blank character with nothing but the equipment on it, and then have them use that as their starting file for their own characters.

Obviously if characters are already created this isn't as useful.

Another simple solution you may like: If you have two characters open at once, you can right click on items (advantages, skills, whatever) and pick to Copy them to other open characters. Custom items will bring across all their information once set up, so this is another low-stress way to pass them around.

But you can still copy from that character to the others, as you said, so it's probably still easier that way than with any other option.

That's easy. Use a blank character. Enter the equipment. Then save it as a template on a data file.

Or, use the files I will upload to the GCA database...
There are explicit to a game I ran at a recent convention.
Which I will try to do by Monday. If you can wait.

By GCA database do you mean: http://www.motoslave.net/gcarepo/ ? Otherwise I'd appreciate a link thanks. No tearing hurry to finish loadouts for characters (other than combat) so whenever you get around to it would be good.

Yes. I meant that one. I was about to leave for work when I was online this morning.
I forgot I have just the legendary equipment. Last year I had the basic templates, but I accidentally removed it from my hard drive. I had been planning to rebuild them anyway.
So... It will be later than I planned.
