Default Easy way to display conditional weapon modes?

So I'm making an Assassin with Striking ST 4 (Surprise Attack Only) and I want his weapons to display attack modes with just the normal Striking ST and also with the full Surprise Striking ST. Is there an easy way to do this without creating a GDF just to have a "Surprise Striking ST" attribute or whatever?

If you select the weapon in the characters equipment list you want to add the attack mode to, you can select the modifiers button. In the popup, select _New Melee Attack Mode. It will prompt you for several things for the attack mode like damage and such. When it is finished, it will add that attack mode to the sheet for that weapon. It will only reside on that one characters sheet.

Duplicate the weapon, set it to Quantity 0, go to the Edit Window and give it an appropriate Name Extension; e.g. Surprise Strike. In the Damage Based On field of the Edit Window you can enter an appropriate formula. The standard Damage Based On would be:
ST:Striking ST
For your purposes you probably want something like:
ST:Striking ST + AD:Striking ST

You can combine the two approaches :D

Create a new mode, duplicate everything from the original, and then set the Damage Based On to Eric's formula :D

True, though I would consider reconstructing all of a weapons modes using _New Melee Attack Mode to be more of a pain than just Duplicating the weapon, especially for a weapon with more than two attack modes.
