Initiating HTH from behind

So if you initiate HTH and roll a 6 you automatically get hit.

Does that include if you are entering a target's rear side? That happened to one of my players today and they were fairly incrdulous that the opponent got an automatic hit on thei rwolf when they were rushed from behind. But I couldn't see anything that took that into consideration.

Where were you looking? The rules in ITL (page 117) specifically say to ignore and re-roll a 6 if initiating HTH from behind.

I was bothered about this rule as well until someone more observant than me pointed out that the RAW specifically spells out that you ignore a 6 in this situation

Need to get my eyes checked apparently. I think I just read the impact and stopped reading after that...
