Speaking of FnordCon… any chance of letting a few of us forum regulars try pushing the 6E game a bit with a larger number of players and a larger point budget while we're there?

I'm thinking along the lines of something like an 8-player slugfest. I'm particularly interested in this as I've got a larger play group and haven't seen a lot of comments regarding it. It would probably also make for a very nice set of pictures with a large amount of carnage too.

No. We're showing the game as it is intended to be played, not as someone may wish to house rule the game after release. This is a controlled environment, playing the game that we are publishing, and focused on giving each attendee at least one chance to play. There aren't enough sets for us to open up the field to house rules and experimentation.

Fair enough - I thought there had been discussion of the planned expansions allowing more than four to play at a point in the past, which is why I asked.

The first wave -- core game and minis packs -- are not all that we have planned. At the moment, our focus is on the first wave of titles for the Kickstarter campaign.

For FnordCon especially, we are limited both on the number of available prototype sets and staff to run demos of the game. We're trying to make sure everyone that wants to has a chance to play the game as it currently stands.

So... if a MiB wanted to hang out and observe/learn how to run demos of the game would that be ok?

[nod] I copied the car and bike sheets onto graph paper, so I could have "expendable" copies. Need to find the _WD_ stuff someday....

Somehow I get the impression doing this for _CW6_ will be *much* more difficult (he said, swinging this back on-topic with all the subtlety of a drifting competition :) ).

Phil, I don't know what's planned for the vehicle cards, but might there be a sheet made available with clear plastic pockets to hold the cards in their specific configuration?
