Yeah this particular result is unlikely, but I would still try verification of local files, since that is easy and fixes lots of problems with Steam games.

Okay veterans! If I'm using this game to learn the rules for the board game...could you please let me know if there is anything I need to be aware of? Differences between the digital and the analogue version?
The two games are _very_ similar. It's just a couple esoteric things that have been tweaked. They have the main differences listed if you go in the main menu under the "How to Play" section.

Also, check out my video tutorial series playlist on how terrain works for all the different units. I just uploaded the last one for Heavy tanks, Superheavy tanks and Ogres today. They will help a lot, especially playing the campaign Advanced map scenarios.

The build should now be updated, and we have a new beta build up on the 'beta' branch with some more experimental fixes.

- AI tweaks
- Unit attack strength no longer showing as 0 during deployment
- Save game fixes
- Fixed issue in beta where Overrun would end prematurely
- Fix for turn disparity in multiplayer
- INF can now dismount if vehicle has moved its full movement
- Submerged Rules added to tooltip
- Minor text changes

This is fixed in the beta (1.5.6.0), not the main branch (1.5.5.0). I've also emailed a more detailed report outlining a few more bugs related to INF riding.

Just tried the BLINDSIDED Campaign Scenario and nothing is showing as different from before.

In the tooltip:

"Heavy Tracked Units:
2 movement points for superheavy tanks and Ogres to enter, and recieve the Recieves the Submerged effect.. Others cannot enter."

In the Terrain Panel:

"2 movement points for superheavy & Ogre to enter. Others cannot enter. Cannot attack."

(Also note the typos)

Nothing is different from when I originally mentioned this before. Do I have to reinstall the game maybe to clear out the old stuff?

The changes were made to the Submerged tooltip, rather than the Water tile. It's only on beta at the moment, are you playing this or the default branch?

Update 1.5.6.0 on beta channel - buildID 2326073
  • Fixed a desync bug in GEV multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where one SHVY appeared as the wrong faction/colour in GEV MP.
  • Mounting and dismounting rules now correct.
  • Dummy units should no longer be visible to attacker during defender's turn.
