It means providing products for free. For example, if you get an article published in Pyramid, they'll provide you with a comp copy of the issue. In this case, from Warehouse 23's point of view, PDFs for people who bought the box set would look like comps, in that they wouldn't be purchased.
And they would show up in your account as comps, at least based on the things in my account that I didn't write but still are listed as comps, including the specific PDFs under discussion.

Fair enough, though my other points about walking the tightrope between annoying new buyers and KickStarter backers still stands, unfortunately.

Hey, all! It's been a year and a day since this forum thread started, and lots has happened in the realm of the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game.

Of special note is the fact that we now have a full subforum to discuss all aspects of the Dungeon Fantasy RPG, so we strongly encourage you all to use the rest of that subforum. We're not going to lock/close this thread (yet), but we'd like to discourage further posting to this thread for things that would be better spun off to their own thread(s).

Thanks to you all for your continued love and support of this game. It's been a great year, and the fun has just begun!

Do you happen to know where I can find the DF pieces/images? I've been searching but haven't found them. I need them for some mapping software I'm working on. Thanks!
