Wember

I love my magic as technology! This magic system is centered on cloth with mystic properties: it preserves and protects something, but only once.

Necromancy as a Power

I love magic as powers, but necromancy can be tricky to get right. This post presents a basic system of powers that interact with each other, and advice on how to build your lord of the dead.

I like this! I wanted to do a Necromancer character for an IOU game and I think this might fit what I wanted to do.

I'm glad you like it! This is one of the problems that keeps on coming back to me and I hope I've done it justice. I must say I've never thought about using such a character in an IOU game though!

Pyromancy as Powers

It appears statted magic as powers are useful to people, so here is the way I usually stat fire hurling mages.

Your wish is my command -- as long as I have it sitting around! I'm glad you like it. I'm probably going to be putting out a few more of these and then tying them all together in a setting sketch and a quick play adventure.

Collaborative Gamer's World Building Generator

This offering is not really mine. The system was designed in another blog, 'Collaborative Gamer'. I being me, I went ahead an automated the generator, because rolling again and again and doing table lookups is a job for a computer. Its an intriguing system. I hope you enjoy this streamlined and automated piece of it. Happy world creation!

Eric - the link to your site, above, is not working for me. I think it might be misdirected.

So others can find it, here's a link to your latest post!

Aotearoa and its Spirit Walkers

Some people with cross-dimensional technology use it for wild economic gain and to gain power. Some have it and don't really care that much. Aotearoa is a community of world-jumpers set on an alternate New Zealand. Its a quaint world, but its spirit walkers are a valuable asset for anyone who looking for parachronazoids.

I was looking through my old documents, built in the days when all I knew about the IW setting was what was in the basic set, and found this write-up. Its one of the better ideas from that time period, so I polished it up (the jumper build had several errors) and now I present it to you.
