Version 2.0 Release Candidate 23
-Fixed bug introduced in RC22 where some weapon systems, particularly Mixed Mounts, would have incorrect cost; especially when given an Equipment Quality modifier
-Fixed bug where some systems, including Mixed Mounts where the number of Mounts was changed by the user, would display an incorrect value in the calculated statistics


Any ships created using RC22 should have their cost correctly calculated if transferred and loaded into the RC23 Design Table.

Hi, thanks for the updates. I was digging around the user systems section of the spreadsheet and I found some systems that it offers that don't seem to show up on the design table no matter which TL/ campaign options I pick. These include Tracked Drive-train, Propeller and Propeller (ducted fan). I'm using excel 2007 and windows 10. Also a nice touch would be if when I hit Reset Table if I didn't have to un-check the box to avoid clearing my user systems every time.

The Tracked Drivetrain is incorrectly listed as Center instead of Hull, meaning it can currently only be installed in Center 1-6 hull locations. The two Propellers were systems I was writing up but never finalized any rules for, thus they literally are not described anywhere and remain disabled.

Agreed. I'll have to add that into the next update. Probably should remember the Campaign Options checkbox stat too.

Version 2.0 Release Candidate 24
-Fixed bug in Tracked Drivetrain that limited it to the Center hull; is now available for any [Hull] location.
-When Resetting the Design Table your choice for Campaign Options and User Created Systems will now be saved for the next time you reset the ship. This will persist even after saving and re-opening the file.
-Added IR Signature calculation to the ship Notes (listed below the Ship Systems, along with Features, etc.)
-Added Web Version Checking to the sheet. When the sheet first opens, if Macros are enabled, it will attempt to check the version against the latest one posted on my website. If a newer sheet is available it will notify the user and offer to download the newer sheet to the same location that the sheet is currently stored in.

Cool, thanks a lot. I've been hoping for some kind of ducted fan type propulsion. I have no idea how the rules for that would work though.

So I was looking over my notes and I had the system rules written up for Propellers and Ducted Fans, I just hadn't implemented the Performance listing within the sheet. Now I have.

The hoverskirt+ducted fan seem to cost more than a helicopter rotor and require more energy (thus costing more in reactors) for a net worse kind of vehicle stat-wise. That doesn't look right. Am I missing something / is this how things are in reality?

It's been a while since I wrote up the stats for those, but I believe I based costs loosely on Vehicles 2e while I based top speed on real-world vehicles. Hovercraft are not particularly streamlined and suffer greatly from drag from their ground-effect envelope combined with the fact that they operate at ground/sea level instead of being able to gain altitude and operate in thinner air with less drag.
