Default Transferral Potion

I have a question about this. There are 3 players. Player A kicks open the door and it is a monster. Player A is beating the monster and players B and C are using different battle cards to try and prevent Player A from defeating the monster. Due to the fact that Player A is going to win this battle (and subsequently, gain the winning level), Player B uses a Transferral Potion and transfers the monster to herself, defeating it. The card says that the game returns back with Player A and that she may loot the room. Does this mean that Player A may not play a monster from her hand? I figure that since the monster was TRANSFERRED to Player B, it's like Player A did not kick down the door with a monster. Any answers to this??

Yes, that is what it means.
