Re: Spear worth it? fantasy campain
So there you are eating your lunch and a guy suddenly attacks you with a knife. Now you have on hand, pasta, a plate, a fork, a bottle of water, a chair, a table, your keys, your phone and your hands and feet. Which of these things do you use? I suspect "noodles" isn't going to be a meaningful choice.
Really this digression is absurd. If you really believe that "anything you can hold is a weapon" who am I to disabuse you, lest we actually fight. Last edited by sir_pudding; 09-08-2017 at 02:25 PM. |

I think it just started, because you took my slight hyperbole as literal out of intended context absolute. I didn't wish to start any upsetting thread detour.

You said "literally"... It isn't like you are the first person to make this claim either. We had the same discussion about why the aliens in Arrival would describe their language with a word we translated as "weapon".

Re: Spear worth it? fantasy campain
Yeah, on reflection it should pretty obviously be allowed. That's half of what dual-wielding fighters have two weapons for, and it's a pretty basic boxing maneuvre.

Perhaps the "spoon" part is connect to spontoon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spontoon
A pike head with ears would be a fair description of both. |
