Glance

Glance usually only exists in the peripheral vision of her victims, as she is only completely visible and tangible to those who look at her through their peripheral vision (she is capable of controlling her invisibility and intangibility in any other circumstance, but she is always visible and tangible to people who see her within their peripheral vision). She is a successful assassin, spy, and thief, her victims find that they cannot see or touch her when they face her in combat, but she can see and touch them. In particular, she specializes in powerful and influential men, as she finds the thrill of the kill after penetrating their security intoxicating.

I was tinkering with statting a known super-person and I was astounded at how low the point cost came out. Which inspired a ... "homage". Yes, that sounds not-legally-actionable.

------------------------------------------------------

Michael Jones, age 14, is the sole child of an unwed mother. He's surly, has trouble getting along with others, and broods a lot. The school coaches would love him for a variety of sports, but he does not Play Well With Others. He spends a lot of his spare time wandering around from place to place around the city and it's environs. His mother knows it's only a matter of time before he leaves for good.

His powers are not yet known to law enforcement or the general public - He doesn't flaunt them but he doesn't hide them either. It's only a matter of time before someone reputable notices. (Minor criminal groups have noticed and have failed to recruit him. They give Mikey a wide berth now.)

All Mikey knows about his biological father is what his mother told him - that the man was a short, surly Canadian with a silly haircut who smoked bad cigars and drank a lot of beer.

Make them Switchable, get rid of the Skateboarding skill ... that balances out.

It's nice and flavourful, but what happens the first time he gets into a fight (about 5 seconds after the campaign starts) and someone shoots him ?

I wonder about the utility of Regeneration (Very Fast) for a 250 CP character. Regeneration (Fast) and Unkillable 1 might be a better choice (ad you could get rid of Hard to Kill, saving 4 CP). If you ended up chosen Unkillable 1, you could take Regrowth as an AA for 8 CP, saving you another 32 CP. With the extra 36 CP, you could increase Resistance to Immunity [-20 CP], add High Pain Threshold [-10 CP], add Switchable to Long Talons [-2 CP]. You could then use the remaining 4 CP to increase Brawling to DX+3.

You have a truly impressive talent for the math of these things, Mr Howl.

That seems strange and potentially dangerous. If you blow off your legs, you wouldn't want to start regrowing them until you've healed enough damage that you wouldn't take life checks. Conversely if you were in a dangerous place regrowing those legs a few points of damage (when you're already injured) that you would normally laugh off could be quite lethal.

It's not about PV. I actually discount Regrowth such that it would be cheaper than 8 points (after all if IT:Unbreakable Bones are 10, spending a month regrowing a limb needs to be cheaper than that).

Yes, it seems strange to make it an AA, unless you really want it to be a choice.

Thank you. One of the issues with low powered supers is that they really cannot afford a 100 CP ability, not unless they are a one trick pony. Then again, you can do a lot with 50 CP and them a few AAs. For example, you could potentially have a character with Crushing Attack 10d (Double Blunt Trauma, +20%; Double Knockback, +20%; Melee Attack, Reach C-1, Dual Weapon, -10%; No Signature, +20%; No Wounding, -50%) [50]. From there, you could build a number of more dangerous or longest distance alternative attacks.
