The State of The War
Since I know we still have some active players here (we do, right?), I'm a little curious as to everyone else's campaign. Where are you set and what's going on right now?
To start things off, I have two active IN campaigns going on right now ... well, semi-active, as they're about to resume from a long break due to Real Life chaos: +++ IN Madison: ISNorden began the In Nomine version of Madison, WI, and as co-GM, still has an active voice in its development. This is a Heavenly campaign featuring: * Kay, a Bright Lilim who fled the ranks of Lust to join the Archangel of Music. After she was at the center of an epic kidnapping plot, she re-pledged herself to Laurence and has begun to combine her prankish nature with the arts of war. Her mentor is an old NPC Cherub of The Sword known in Heaven as Shifrah and on Earth as Harold. * Bertha, a Cherub of War with a huge sense of responsibility -- maybe because she's attuned to four different people, including Kay. When not working security at the Ho Chunk casino, she's trying to repair the psyche of a former college student named Sandy, a mortal who was used, abused, warped and discarded by a Lust team during a chase across Iowa. * Jesher, a Kyriotate of Creation in service to Flowers. Because of many cross-attunements, Jesher can turn up anywhere, though his favorite hosts are a flower shop worker named Tommy, a lovable mutt known as Chumley, and a young rocker called Mia (who's currently out of action, touring halfway around the world). He currently works with a 14-year-old Soldier known as Sneaks, a homeless girl he and Kay found. * Sasha, a Malakite of Lightning who's enamored of the simple pleasures, including demon bashing, anime and Dr. Who. Currently in the Role of an engineering student, she has a special hate on for the Lust Team, whose Habbalite blindsided her with a passion attack. The four are currently investigating a recent eruption of undead that nearly trapped Sneaks on Halloween week. The trail appears to lead to a local cybercafe called the Plug-n-Play, but a recent attempt to frame two of the angels for Sneaks' abduction from her proper home has muddied the waters. And there are rumors that The Game is in town .... +++++ IN Boulder: Started in the weird but beautiful mountain city just 10 minutes from my hometown, I'm currently GMing this campaign for two angels: * Karen, a Seraph of Protection with the Role of a bounty hunter. She's also a bit of a paradox, since the Most Holy is also currently living with a used-car salesman ...the one whom she sold her van to in order to pay a broke student's medical bills. * Father Bart, an Ofanite of Laurence in the Role of a Portuguese priest. He's made himself responsible for a failed teenage thief named Miguel and has begun to teach him manners, morals and capoeira. The two have been investigating a string of child abductions and deaths that have put them on the trail of an unusual wolf-pack -- the holy werewolves of the Benandanti, or at least the ethereal images created by their memories and given life. The Benandanti claim to be battling Lilith for the children's lives, but not the Lilith the angels think they know. Or is she? In the background, the two are also trying to save the life and college career of a graduate student whose chaotic life simply must be the result of infernal interference.

Re: The State of The War
Boulder? Madison? You call that war? ;)
My little PbP includes coasts on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, though heavily in the Marches. I'm also going full apocalyptic with my themes. I'm such a hypocrite, since I prefer to play the small moral game rather than the big Bruckheimer thing.

Besides, if you want a three-front war, Boulder has to be one of the top 5 choices for a U.S. based campaign. Maybe top 3.
