Re: OGRE Force Names
Armored and stealth orbital units are an essential portion of any battle strategy as well.

Re: OGRE Force Names
I wonder if there should be more alternative Ogre marks that are more battlefield nessecity like a howitzer ogre, an ogre with less movement, maybe 2, that can fire its main battery with the range of a howitzer but their could be an uncertainty principle because it is not an official unit

Re: OGRE Force Names
Oooh. Mongo like.
I think that a movement 1 Ogre with APs and 2 or 3 range 6 or 7 howitzers could be very cool, indeed. |

Re: OGRE Force Names
I once played a game kill the CP on the GEV map, where the attacker had a Mk V armed with a howitzer (6/6 D4, IIRC) and the defenders had a few additional armor units to make the sides equal. The howitzer was an interesting twist even though it didn't last more than the first few turns. In fact, the game actually ended up being a major victory for the defense since the ogre was destroyed still several hexes away from its target. Still, I like the idea of a long-range "siege" Ogre.
