Default Munchkin bites questions

1) TERGIVERSATION states "If you could legelly help in a combat. and you offer to help but someone else is chosen, you may discard one card to give a -4 to the one who turned you down."

Can I ask for treasures when I offer help i this case?

2) BAT BAT states "If you face Bats, this weapon automatically kills one Bat card of your choice, but then adds no bonus for the rest of the combat. You get the kill and the treasures only if you defeat any remaining monsters"

i) If i face only a Bat monster, does it automatically get killed?

ii) If i face 2 Bat monsters, ( I killed 1 Bat monster by myself and the other is killed by the effect of BAT BAT card). Do i get the treasures and level up of both Bat monsters or just the one I i killed myself?

Of course.

You just quoted the card and it says that you get the kill and the Treasure for the Bat killed by the Bat Bat if you defeat the remaining Monsters. So, if you're facing two Bats, the Bat Bat eliminates one, you kill the other, you get levels and Treasures for both Monsters. . .

Thanks for the answer Munchkinman but you missed out 1 of the questions.

i) If i face only a Bat monster, does it automatically get killed?

Does the "Bats" refer to a category or the number of Bat monster?

No, I answered the question. . . Beyond that, the question you had was answered by the card itself and you're given all the evidence you need contextually.

So. . . You have the Bat Bat, it instantly kills one Bat, your choice. So, what do you think if you only face one bat?

Ok, so just to clarify. If I have the "bat bat" and one bat is there then the bat just goes away (and no players would then have a chance to play other bats?)

Yes, but they'd still have an opportunity to wander in another Monster (with a Wandering Monster card, of course), or do something else to extend combat, before you could declare combat over, as per the "2.6 second" rule.

I want to clarify a question. I know if you face one bat using the "bat bat" it is auto killed. Yet, due to the 2nd part of the card. Do you get the level and the treasure only if you face one bat? Or must you face multiple enemies to receive the level and treasure?
